In his official message, the Moroccan monarch highlighted the sporting and human qualities that guided Luis de la Fuente’s team to global glory. Mohammed VI praised the squad’s “strong determination” and “high competitive spirit”, describing Spain’s team as a young and talented generation that successfully reached the top of world football.

The King also emphasized that Spain’s second World Cup title, secured after extra time against Argentina in the final, was achieved “with brilliance and merit.”
