Achraf Hakimi continues to write his name in the annals of continental and European football in letters of gold. During Paris Saint-Germain’s brilliant 4–2 victory over FC Barcelona, the Moroccan international right-back once again demonstrated his vision by providing a crucial assist. This latest contribution brings his personal tally to 19 assists in Europe’s most prestigious competition. Thanks to this performance, the Parisian defender joins Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah and is now just one assist away from the all-time record held by former Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto’o, who has 20 assists to his name in the Champions League.
